Building Consistency & Understanding
The two-week program expands on foundational skills while giving your dog the time needed to develop consistency and clarity. This phase focuses on repetition with purpose—helping your dog not only perform commands, but understand when and why they’re expected.
With additional time, we begin strengthening leash manners, improving responsiveness, and reinforcing engagement in slightly more distracting settings. Dogs learn how to work through mild challenges without frustration or avoidance.
Training Focus:
• Solidifying Sit, Down, and Heel with longer duration
• Improved leash control and reduced reactivity
• Increased engagement around light distractions
• Introduction to impulse control concepts
Outcome:
A dog that is more reliable, more attentive, and beginning to show self-control beyond quiet environments.
